I was born in New York City, New York and moved to Orlando, Florida in 1987. I have also lived in Laredo, Texas where I met my husband before eventually returning to Orlando in 2005. I speak both English and Spanish fluently and have found that being bilingual allows me to communicate better with my patients. I decided to go into medicine because I wanted to primarily help people by providing them with the best healthcare possible and in doing so help them live their best life. A good day at work means that the patients leave with all their problems addressed and with the information and knowledge they need to feel better and continue their care at home. I want you to know that at Sanitas patients are our primary focus. We focus on patients as a whole and take a comprehensive approach to their care. We not only incorporate treatment and medications but all other factors that can affect patient outcomes including family, religion, ethnicity, and personal preferences. When I take off my coat, I love to spend time with my husband and our dog Whitman. I also love to read, watch movies, relax, and go swimming.
