I was born and raised in South Florida to Cuban American parents. I have lived here my entire life and I love the diverse range of cultures that can be found in South Florida. I speak both English and Spanish fluently. I’ve found that being bilingual allows me to connect and communicate better with my patients.  I decided to go into medicine because I’ve always had an instinct to care for others. As I got older and experienced caring for my grandfather who was very dear to me, I knew that I needed to turn my passion for helping others into a career.  A good day at work means I was able to care for my patients and their families in a way that brings physical, emotional, and mental well-being to ensure an optimal quality of life for them.  I want you to know that at Sanitas we consider ourselves to be a family that collectively strives to continuously go above and beyond for our patients and their families.  When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my dogs, and relaxing to a movie night in with pizza. When I’m able to, I also love to retreat to the mountains for some hiking and scenic views.
