As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I treat my patients with respect, and care for them as if they are family. Since I’m bilingual, we can talk in English or Spanish. I enjoy seeing the relief on my patients’ faces when I share positive test results, and they know see that their hard work has paid off. It’s a good day when there’s improvement in their condition they tell me they feel better, too. Sanitas offers me a great opportunity to grow professionally and I like supporting our patients and the community. I was born in Cuba and grew up in a family who valued hard work and believed in honesty, integrity and responsibility. A positive person, I came to the U.S. in search of freedom and better professional opportunities. I now call Miami my home. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I like to exercise for my health.
