I was born and raised in Cuba and came to the United States for my residency training in Family Medicine. A profound sense of positively impacting my community inspired me to become a doctor. I want our patients to know that at Sanitas the experience is very unique. The waiting time is only about five to ten minutes and when our patients get to the exam room we really take the time to get to know them better. They can find most of the health services they need in one convenient location. We not only provide services regarding a particular illness or need, but also focus on prevention. When I take off my coat, I love singing. I believe singing allows you to express yourself in a deeper way than you could ever do by just talking. I was a singer in Cuba. After coming to the United States I had to spend a little more time on studying, but am now able to get back into singing and participate in my church's choir.
