As a family nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I treat my patients with professionalism, sympathy and the highest quality of care. It’s a good day at work when I’m able to make a difference and see patients improve with my care and treatment. An exceptional day is when I learn something new that will help me improve the quality of care I provide and better help me in my profession. Medicine and patient care have always been my calling. I knew I wanted to become a doctor since I was a child––the anatomy of the human body fascinates me. I love to diagnose and treat patients. Born and raised in Cuba, I came to the U.S. at the age of 17, cutting my medical career short, to reunite with my family. Miami is now my home and I’m grateful for the opportunities here. When I take off my coat, I like to study, read, exercise, and spend time with my family.
