I was born in Santiago, Cuba and moved to the US in 2004. Since then, I have called Miami my home. My mother and I came to the states to reunite with my dad who emigrated a few years before us. I completed my bachelor's degree at Florida International University and got accepted into LECOM in Bradenton for my medical degree. I returned to Miami to complete my internal medicine residence at Palmetto General Hospital. I recently lived in Naples, FL, working as a hospitalist and later as a primary care doctor for the Lee Health system. I decided to go into medicine because I want help the community. My goal is to help others heal wounds both physically and emotionally. A good day at work means my patients are satisfied with my care. My number one priority is to see my patient's health improve. It is my greatest joy on the job. I want you to know that at Sanitas, we focus on preventative care and providing our patients several services all in one place. When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending as much time with my family as possible.
