I was born and raised in Venezuela, I graduated from Zulia University as a Medical Doctor. 2 years later, I moved to the United States, where I continued my passion for healthcare by becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Because of my deep love for medicine and people, I aim to always provide excellent patient care for everyone. My native language is Spanish, with English as my second language. I decided to go into medicine because… as a child, I was fascinated with Medicine. At seven years old, I had severe asthma and visited many doctors, seeking opinions, and treatment. I always remember the Doctor who treated me with care and concern. His example of kindness taught me that it is a special gift to be a health provider. He has served as a strong influence and a role model in the course of my life. A great day at work is when I see my patients improving. It always feels very rewarding to coaching them to health and to be a part of their new healthy lifestyle. I want you to know that at Sanitas, I will give you my focused attention to help prevent and reverse diseases through wellness education, making great food choices, and staying active to improve your lifestyle. When I take off my coat, I like to keep practicing what I preach. I enjoy going to the gym and preparing my own meals rich on fresh in-season fruits and vegetables. I also love to practice meditation and kundalini yoga every day, to relieve stress and sleep better.
