As a doctor at Sanitas, I take time to get to know my patients. Mutual trust is important, particularly in determining the best health plan for their care. Working with a great team here is good for the patients and makes their care easier. It’s a good day at work when I know I’ve made a difference in their lives. Though most comfortable speaking English with my patients, I can communicate in Arabic and I also understand some Spanish. I was born in Yemen, and when I was three, my parents brought me to the U.S. where I grew up in Michigan but have lived in many states and am now settled in St. Petersburg. I decided to study medicine because I wanted to help others. When I’m not working, I love to explore new places, good restaurants, venues and meet new people. I enjoy music and singing, outdoor sports and hiking, and being a foodie.
