A line of severe thunderstorms and a tornado came through Tallahassee the morning of Friday, May 10, 2024, causing the type of damage that usually accompanies hurricanes. An estimated 80,000 people in Tallahassee were without power and schools were closed. Like most of the community, Sanitas Medical Center operations were impacted by the storm.
All Tallahassee locations have returned to normal operations as of Monday, May 13th.
