I was born in Miami, FL, and completed my fellowship training at USF in Tampa. I’ve practiced infectious diseases in Sarasota and primary care in St. Petersburg, Bradenton, and Brandon. My passion for medicine began in college while researching HIV, which led me to study immunology and behavioral medicine. I’ve traveled to Panama and Uganda to study tropical diseases and worked in transplant centers like Tampa General and Moffitt Cancer Center, caring for complex cases. A good day at work is when my patients feel empowered to take control of their health. At Sanitas, we believe in more than just treating symptoms—we focus on understanding you as a whole person. Our goal is to empower you to take charge of your health by providing compassionate, personalized care. We recognize that every patient is unique, so we work with you to find solutions that fit your lifestyle and health goals. Outside of work, I love the ocean—sailing, SCUBA diving, and swimming. I also enjoy traveling, camping, and stargazing. Living with Type 1 diabetes since 2004 has given me a deep understanding of my patients' challenges, inspiring me to provide compassionate, personalized care.
