At Sanitas, I care for the whole person, recognizing that mental health is just as important as physical health. Everyone who comes to counseling has a unique history and a lifetime of experiences. I honor these by creating an environment where each patient feels safe and accepted. I’m proud to provide inclusive care, accepting people from all genders and identities. It's a good day at work when new challenges are met with creative thinking and when patients are personable. I enjoy a sense of accomplishment when I’ve helped someone overcome bothersome issues. I was born and raised in Alabama where I completed my undergraduate studies. Wanting to broaden my cultural awareness, I moved to complete my graduate work in Pennsylvania and New York City. When I’m not at work, I enjoy traveling. Having lived on both the East and West Coasts, I appreciate cultural diversity and differing perspectives. Either at work or in my community, I strive to help bring a positive outlook to someone's life each day.
