As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I treat my patients like family––getting to know them and building trusting relationships with them. I take time to listen and provide education on good health and disease prevention, that will help them improve their quality of life. It’s a good day at work when my patients leave Sanitas feeling heard, cared for and with a deeper understanding of their health. My grandfather was a political refugee in Cuba, and our family, with the hope of a better future, was granted a visa to move to the United States when I was young. I grew up in Nashville, and I love living here. I chose a medical career because I wanted to help close gaps in healthcare and give back to my community. I’m passionate about helping others and providing quality care for patients. In my free time, I enjoy reading to discover new information. I also like traveling and exploring new places, learning about different cultures and trying new foods.
