As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, my patients can feel reassured that they’ll receive the best medical care possible. When talking with them, I provide empathy and comfort. My goal is for patients to improve their quality of life and avoid disease and complications. The best days at work are when I’ve gone above and beyond my patient's expectations, so they feel that they can count on me to do everything in my power to help them. Because my passion is helping people, preventing illnesses and complications, I decided to study to become a nurse practitioner. Born in Manzanillo, Cuba, I came to the U.S. with my family in 2018. My recent work as a charge nurse was helping people suffering from bulimia and anorexia, build the confidence needed to recover from these eating disorders. In my free time, I enjoy being with my twins and my husband. We watch movies, cook, and enjoy playing with our dog.
