I am originally from Cuba where I graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in 1997. In 1998, I moved to Chile where I worked as a pediatrician until I moved to the United States permanently in 2001. I was interested in science while in school and medicine has deep roots in science. I was also fascinated with using science to help treat people and medicine has captivated me ever since. A good day at work for me is when I can work personally with every patient and provide them with top-quality care. I go beyond simply treating them and I educate patients on preventative practices as well as providing eligibility assistance for certain health programs as well. At Sanitas, we operate with transparency, trust, and open ears. We will always listen to you and respect your opinion when providing the care you need to feel better. In my free time, I enjoy reading, walking my dogs, and playing volleyball.
