I was born and raised in Cuba in a small town called Calabazar de Sagua. I am a native Spanish speaker but learned English as well after moving to the United States in 2006. My decision to pursue a career in medicine came early, as I’ve always been inspired by doctors and medical care professionals since I was very young. There is no feeling more rewarding than helping my patients, especially the young ones, feel well again. A good day at work for me is when I can accurately diagnose my patients and provide easy and safe treatments for them. At Sanitas, we are fully dedicated to our patients. We’re with you from the moment you make your appointment until your discharge, providing compassionate care along the way. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking for them, and reminiscing about old times. I also enjoy reading medical journals so I’m always up to date with the latest research.
