I was born and raised in Cuba and have lived in the United States nine years. I came with the dream of becoming a Health Care Provider. Since arriving, I became a Family Nurse Practitioner, which is more than a dream come true. It allows me to improve the quality of life of the community that I serve while fulfilling my life-long calling. I decided to go into medicine because practicing medicine has been my passion since I was a child. Both my parents were amazing doctors who love their profession and have taught me to love the art of diagnosing and curing health conditions. A good day at work means I provide personalized care that is focused to patients' needs. I also love the opportunity to learn something new that helps me to grow as a professional. I want you to know that Sanitas is more than a health care facility, it’s a family where the patient is a priority, and everybody is committed to providing the best care possible. I always aim to go above and beyond to provide the highest standards of care. When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending time with my son and husband. I always make sure that I don't finish my day without calling my parents and my sister. Family is really important to me. Because of them, I am who I am today!
