I was born in Santiago de Cuba and came to the U.S. seeking a brighter future and the opportunity to practice medicine with the resources needed to provide the best care. Medicine runs deep in my family—my mother, father, and sister are all doctors. Growing up, I was inspired by their dedication and the gratitude of their patients.I’ve always admired how doctors play a crucial role in helping people recover and value their health.
