As a family nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I treat my patients like family. Each one receives professional and personalized care, and getting to know them helps me develop individualized care plans. A good day at work means I’ve helped a patient solve a health problem that’s been worrying them. I was born and raised in Cuba, I speak both English and Spanish. That’s where I became a doctor, but I came to the U.S. in search of freedom. I love to take care of people—it’s my passion—so a career in health care was an easy decision for me. When I’m not working, I like to relax and enjoy watching movies and going to the beach.
