When patients visit me at Sanitas, they get what I call the “Gorea touch.” That means attentive listening and extra compassion. When they feel they are heard and understood they are more likely to adhere to a treatment plan for a sustainable healthy lifestyle. Many of my patients tell me, "You listen to me,” and are encouraged about their care. A good day at work is bringing a sense of comfort and hope to each person who allows me to assist them with their healthcare needs. Growing up in the inner city of Memphis, I learned about reliability and compassion, so I’m able to understand and identify with different populations. Because of my passion in caring for others, I decided to go into the field of medicine. When I’m not at work, I enjoy time with my husband, kids, grandchild, and fur baby. I also like to travel.
