As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I’m part of a professional team and am committed to bringing high-quality health care and compassion to my patients. Though I’m most comfortable speaking English, I also speak Nepali and Hindi. A good day at work is when I see a smile on a patient’s face after I’ve met their needs and they’re showing improvement from following our care plan. I was born and raised in Nepal and I moved to the United States in 2008 for family and career opportunities. I worked as a registered nurse (RN) at one of the biggest hospitals in Nepal but wanted to pursue an advanced degree to become a nurse practitioner. I also worked as an RN at Advent Health Orlando for several years. My passion is providing care to patients on a broad level with perspective that combines my experiences as a nurse with clinical care. When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like watching movies, listening to music, traveling to new places and going for nature walks.
