I was born and raised in Nicaragua and moved to the United States in 1988. I’m fluent in Spanish and English and have the ability to speak with many patients because of it. Ever since I was in elementary school, I have always been fascinated with the human body. It is interesting how we can learn more about it each year, and we can treat diseases that were once thought to be a death sentence just decades ago. My uncle was a Dermatologist, and I enjoyed watching him work, which motivated me to pursue a career in the medical field. A good day at work for me means that I get to see my patients happy and cheerful no matter their circumstances. I also enjoy building a relationship with new patients as I get to learn more about not only their health but their lives as well. At Sanitas, we emphasize patient support. We always take the time to listen to their concerns and adapt our practices based on their feedback. We want to create a comfortable environment for them that welcomes the entire community in. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, and we love to go out and dance. I also enjoy weekend barbeques with family and friends along with playing at the pool and playing chess with my son.
