I was born in Trinidad and raised in Tobago. I see the medical profession as a meaningful way to combine my interest in science with my love for serving to others and consider myself privileged to have had the opportunity to pursue my dream of becoming a physician. I decided to enter the medical field because, from a young age, I was drawn to the altruistic nature of the profession. I’ve always been interested in learning about science and anthropology and these two interests now inform my understanding of the social cultural and biological factors that influence health. I love how my career challenges my intellect daily and provides opportunities to interact and develop relationships based on mutual trust to promote the health and wellbeing of my patients. I consider it a privilege to be part of somebody’s health success story. At Sanitas, we provide excellent, personalized care and strive to build strong, compassionate relationships with each of our patients. When I’m off work, I enjoy watching foreign and independent movies. I have a passion for traveling and enjoy participating in international medical mission trips where I can learn more about the things I am passionate about.
