I was born in Cuba but moved to the United States 11 years ago. To me, medicine is more than a career but is my life's greatest passion. I chose to get into medicine because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of others and have a positive impact on my community. Every day at work is a good day for me, but whenever I can go home knowing that my patients feel better because of my actions, it is especially gratifying. At Sanitas, we are all about preventative care, meaning that we take steps to help boost our patients' health before they ever have the chance to become ill. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets. I also enjoy learning more about different cultures through travel.
