I am originally from the Dominican Republic but moved to New York when I was 12 years old. I eventually returned to the Dominican Republic to attend medical school before becoming a permanent Florida resident in 2004. I am fluent in English and Spanish and also understand some Italian and Portuguese. I chose to pursue a degree in medicine to fulfill my childhood dream. I always have enjoyed helping people and learning new things, and medicine puts my love of studying and helping others front and center. A good day at work for me is when I can fully understand my patients’ concerns and providing comprehensive treatment. At Sanitas, we strive to be as transparent as possible, while also actively listening to our patients’ thoughts and concerns and ensure that we are trustworthy. In my free time, I enjoy reading and studying news and information about medical advancements. I also enjoy listening to music, traveling, exercising, and gardening.
