As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I enjoy getting to know my patients, talking with them and listening to them. The trust we develop helps me understand the care that will be most effective for them. It’s very rewarding to care for patients who are pleased with their results so they’re able to be as healthy as possible. I’ve lived in Northeast Florida most of my life. As a teen, I leaned toward caregiving––always looking for ways I could help my friends and family. Realizing that I enjoyed making a difference in people’s lives, I knew that a career in medicine was in my future. When I’m not working, I’m a parent of two active boys. We enjoy adventure parks and traveling to places that include outdoor activities like hiking, snowboarding or boating. Their dad, a professional surf instructor, taught the boys to surf. We’re also involved in their football and lacrosse teams.
