As a mental health counselor at Sanitas, I take care of patients virtually. They have access to my help through BeWell, a toll-free number, mySanitas app, virtual consultation and individual sessions. It's a good day at work when I'm productive and recognize improvement in my patients. I take pride in my work and deliver quality counseling services for my patients. Helping improve the emotional well-being of people of all ages and social status is what motivates me. I chose the mental health field because my passion is to serve people who are going through life issues and want to improve. I was born in Jamaica—not the country, but the neighborhood of Queens, New York, but Florida is now my home. After work, I enjoy reading good books, exercising, watching sports and documentaries, traveling and cooking.
