I have a great passion for what I do. As a doctor at Sanitas, I care for my patients and work to find solutions for their concerns and medical needs––establishing a care plan aimed at curing their ailments, preventing disease and maintaining good health. My desire to become a doctor stemmed from the hope that, by gaining medical knowledge, I'd be able to help patients heal body and soul. Many doctors treat illnesses but can overlook the patient's simple desire to have their fears and concerns heard––even when they have a difficult time explaining their illness and medical history. I put many patients at ease communicating in my native Spanish and can also communicate in English and Portuguese. Living among cultural diversity broadens my knowledge of various customs and beliefs, and helps create better empathy with my patients. Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, I lived in Lisbon, Portugal, for three years. In 2013, I moved to Miami, to build a career and a family home. When I'm not working, I like to spend time with my family and friends, explore new places and enjoy life as much as I can.
