As a provider at Sanitas, I’ll always take time to listen, educate and guide my patients toward improving their health and overall quality of life. In addition to my personal attention, there are numerous programs that help simplify patients’ daily struggles and access to healthcare. A good day at work for me means spending time and building trust with my patients. It is important for my patients to know and understand that I care about them and their health concerns. I was born and raised in rural West Tennessee. I decided to pursue a career in nursing because of my passion for helping others. Although I was raised in a family of educators, I knew teaching was not in my future. However, little did I know, I find myself teaching on a daily basis; the only difference is I am not in a classroom. I teach patients how to incorporate lifestyle changes, how and why they should take their medication and the importance of improving their overall health. I want you to know that at Sanitas, we are a group of dedicated and caring professionals who will provide the best possible care to patients according to their specific needs and concerns. When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending time with my three children and my family. In addition to spending quality time with my family I love to travel, cooking, and just relaxing on my patio outside.
