I was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, but moved with my family to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, at the age of four. Growing up in Rutherford County, I completed my education and graduated from high school there. Following this, I spent 2 1/2 years in Italy and 3 years in Tokyo, Japan, before returning to settle in Christiana, Tennessee. Throughout my husband's military career, I've had the opportunity to live in various parts of the United States, but we have now embraced settled life in Christiana following his retirement. My passion for healthcare led me to pursue a 25-year career in nursing before advancing to earn my Master's degree. I am dedicated to helping people lead healthy, fulfilling lives, and find immense satisfaction in supporting them to achieve their health and life goals. A good day at work for me is when my patients feel heard and valued, even when we are still working towards solutions. I prioritize giving them my full attention during our interactions and ensure I provide them with the support they need on their health journey. When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending quality time with my children and grandchildren, exploring new places through travel, and caring for our farm.
