I was born in Texas but grew up all over the country and overseas due to my father's Air Force career. I’ve lived in Florida since 1975, practicing in a coastal retirement community until I sold my practice in 2022. I started my medical journey a bit later in life, motivated to do something meaningful with my career. A good day at work is when I empower my patients to manage their health and navigate the complexities of modern medicine. Advocating for vulnerable populations is always a challenge, but it's incredibly rewarding. When I take off my coat, I love to ride my bike for hours. Bike camping is a passion of mine, and I enjoy exploring trails in North Florida, New Mexico, and Vermont.
