I was born and raised in Cuba and moved to the US at the age of 17. During my undergrad days, I worked with Autistic children, and this ignited my passion for helping others. I have worked in various areas of medical care such as repatriation nursing and palliative care. A great day at work would be making a difference in my patients’ lives by changing the way they think and feel towards their own health and lifestyle. I most enjoy working with adult patients. Sanitas focuses a lot on preventive care and teaching the patients a healthier lifestyle. We provide amazing health care services, including excellent nutritionists who can sit with the patients to teach them how to eat well and have a healthy balanced diet. We have doctors and specialists who work hand-in-hand support most of our patients’ everyday health care needs in one location. When I take off my coat, I spend time with my child. Aside that, I love doing Pilates, and travelling.
