As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, my patients are the focus of my work and receive evidence-based care. I listen to them, get to know them and pay attention to their needs. It’s a good day when I’m able to educate patients about health issues and treatments, and they’re engaged and receptive to making improvements. My family is from Central America, but I was born in California and am bilingual (English and Spanish). Now, Nashville is my home. I enjoy helping those in my community get better access to health care and helping educate others so they learn how to manage their conditions day to day to improve their health. When I’m not working, I like to spend time with my family, try new restaurants and read a good book.
