I was born and raised in Cuba and moved to the United States at a later age. I owe my career to my best friend’s dad. Back in Santiago de Cuba, he would pick us from school and share experiences of how he treated and cared for his patients. His true dedication and passion inspired me in many ways to stay true to the medical field. I see each patient as family. I do my best to help my patients heal and also connect with them in special ways that would help improve their health. I find fulfilment when family members of an existing patient decide to become patients to enjoy my care. At Sanitas, we practice true medicine with evidence based guidelines, directed to not only treat patients physically, but also emotionally. We see beyond challenges of each day and work with an end goal of seeing smiles on our patients’ faces. When I take off my coat, I spend time at home with my family. I love learning about diverse cultures and opening up to a new world of perspective to help my growth. My love for nature is unmatched. I love being in close contact with beautiful things of nature, from birds chirping to the blue skies, and other sweet things of nature.
