I was born and raised in Puerto Padre, Cuba, also know as the “Blue Villa of Cuba.” For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a doctor, even pretending to be one as a young child. My dreams came true when I was 23 years old when I began working as a Family Physician. After moving to Miami, I studied to become an RN and a Family Nurse Practitioner later on. I chose to pursue a career in medicine to help others obtain better health. A good day at work for me is when I have the time to see each of my patients and truly hear their concerns and clarify any doubts they might have. Communication is key for me, so speaking one-on-one with everyone is crucial to me. At Sanitas, the entire team is dedicated to providing the best health care possible. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy outdoor activities, such as going to the beach, walking in a local park, and gardening.
