As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, my patients receive compassionate and individualized care. Although I’m most comfortable speaking English with my patients, I also speak Spanish. A good day at work is when I can make a difference in someone's life. Whether it’s giving medical care, a little encouragement or just listening, I’m happy that I’ve helped someone. I was born in Honduras but raised in South Florida where I’ve lived for over 20 years. My family came to the U.S. chasing the American dream and my parents strived to help their children succeed. I decided to go into medicine because I knew I could help people in any given situation, particularly during vulnerable times. Working with different cultures helps me consider places I’d like to in my free time. I also enjoy gardening, spending time with my family and exercising.
