As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, my patients feel heard and acknowledged. We work together to utilize evidence-based practices to help them achieve their optimal health goals. I enjoy connecting with patients to build trust and rapport that paves the way for collaborating about their health. It fuels my passion when I see that a patient leaves a visit with newfound hope their well-being. I grew up in Kentucky but have spent most of my adult life in Indiana. For several years I worked all around the U.S. as a traveling nurse before returning to Indiana in 2020 to complete my nurse practitioner program. I learned that it’s important to hear the story of every patient and approach each individually. Inspired by my grandmother’s nursing career stories and the personal care from a special nurse practitioner motivated me to pursue the same path. When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, trying new and interesting foods and renovating our Nashville home.
