At Sanitas, I provide my patients with comprehensive care to bring relief and hope to families no matter how adverse their circumstances. It’s a good day when my patients have improved considerably under my care and when I’m able to diagnose potentially serious diseases early. It’s equally gratifying to be able to resolve difficult. A smile on a patient’s face is the best reward. I decided to go into medicine because of my passion for relieving the sick. I left Cuba in 2009 looking for freedom and a place to develop my profession. I’ve had to overcome many challenges and difficulties, witnessing the obstacles and barriers that immigrants suffer, including access to medical services in the community and at hospitals. This enables me to create a special connection with the population that I serve in Miami-Dade County. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors with family and friends. I also enjoy fishing, playing tennis and table tennis.
