I was born in Miami, Florida with Cuban background, traditions and culture. I’m proud of my Cuban roots and being an American as well. At a very tender age, I knew I wanted to care for others without receiving anything in return. I love interacting with patients. A great day at work is when I established a trusting relationship with my patients, knowing they’ve been heard and they tell you they felt well cared for. It gives me a sense of fulfilment and purpose. I also love teaching my patients how to improve their lifestyle by including healthy eating and a combination of various treatments and practices such as yoga and meditation. Sanitas is a place where patients receive individualized attention. We offer a closed loop type of service in which we address patients’ complaints, treat their complaints and give them follow up actions to prevent the issue from recurring. In my free time, I spend as much time as possible with my son. I also enjoy doing yoga at least three times a week and going to the farmers markets to eat healthy.
