At Sanitas, I devote my time to my patients, carefully listening so I can understand what they need and how I can best help them. It’s a good day at work when my patients express how much I’ve helped them overcome their struggles and express their gratitude for my help. Born in Queens, New York, I lived in New York City, Colombia and Miami. I knew I wanted to study social work and mental health counseling to help those who suffer from instability. I believe that everyone has the mental strength to overcome life’s stressors. I’ve enjoyed learning and practicing meditative techniques such as yoga, breathing skills and guided meditation, and find it helpful to share them with my patients to help them minimize the stress, anxiety or depression they may have. When I’m not working, I love to come home and spend time with my family.
