As a registered nutritionist at Sanitas, my patients get treated like family—they have all my attention. Treating patients virtually means helping many that I might not otherwise be able to see. They have the convenience of healthcare from a tablet, smart phone or computer and in the privacy of home. A good day at work is when I’ve helped a patient how to take charge of their health. It’s rewarding when patients realize they can lower their A1C levels or improve their quality of life through the power of nutrition. Born and raised in southern Brazil, I moved to the U.S. when I was 15 years old in search of opportunities and to live the American dream. I’ve lived across central and south Florida since then. I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish, but prefer English. I decided on a career in nutrition because my passion is to heal patients through food. I believe that food is the key to living a long and healthy life. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing with our three dogs. I like to listen to music and relax while preparing a home cooked meal.
