I was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico. I have lived in the Tampa Bay area for 9 years now. My grandmother is from the Philippines and her cultural influence helped make me who I am today. I started as a CNA in high school at a local nursing home. From there my passion for healthcare grew. I moved on to become a trained EMT and eventually obtained my RN and worked in the emergency room for 8 years before becoming a nurse practitioner. The best part of my day is the interaction with my patients. I enjoy building a connection and getting to know each of them. The stories that patients have shared with me about their lives have touched my heart. Specialized care is tailored to each individual based on their needs and not just a diagnosis. One of my favorite hobbies is reading books. I mostly enjoy thriller and suspense novels. On the weekends I enjoy any event involving sunshine and water.
